Starting from IDR 0 to IDR 2.5 million, here are the details of tuition fees at IAIN Ternate
TERNATE, -- State Islamic Religious Institute (IAIN) Ternate, is one of the oldest State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN) in Eastern Indonesia. As the oldest PTKIN, this campus has very representative lecture facilities.
The availability of complete infrastructure makes IAIN Ternate always the choice for young people from North Maluku, as well as from other provinces, every year.
Regarding new student admissions, IAIN Ternate has the same pattern as all PTKINs, namely through three admission routes, including the SPAN-PTKIN route, UM-PTKIN and the Mandiri route.
Of the three new student admission routes, of course all of them have the opportunity to receive the same tuition fees.
Well, if in private universities, tuition fees are better known as Education Development Contributions (SPP), then in state universities they are called Single Tuition Fees (UKT).
For this reason, at IAIN Ternate it is better known as the UKT format, and the amount of course varies, starting from IDR 0 to IDR 2.5 million. Following are the details.

UKT 1: IDR 0
UKT 2: IDR 1,400,000 – 1,700,000 (Tadris Biology and Mathematics)
UKT 3: IDR 1,700,000 – 2,000,000 (Tadris Biology and Mathematics)
UKT 4: Rp. 2,000,000 –2,300,000 (Tadris Biology and Mathematics)
UKT 5: Rp. 2,500,000
For UKT at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FTIK) IAIN Ternate, everything is of course the same, only two study programs namely Biology and Mathematics at UKT 2, UKT 3 and UKT 4 have changed, because they are calculated based on the additional practicum money per semester.

UKT 4: Rp. 2,000,000 – 2,300,000 (Sharia Banking Study Program)

Just like in the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, at FEBI also in UKT 2, UKT 3 and UKT 4 there are differences between the Sharia Banking study program and other study programs. The UKT difference is related to the addition of practicum money per semester.
Faculty of Ushuluddin, Adab and Da'wah (FUAD)
UKT 1: IDR 0
UKT 2: IDR 1,400,000
UKT 3: IDR 1,700,000
UKT 4: Rp. 2,000,000
UKT 5: Rp. 2,500,000
Students who are determined to receive UKT IDR 0 are those who excel in the field of Tahfizh Qur'an, they must meet the requirements, namely the standards set for Juz 20 to 30.
Meanwhile, for students who memorize Al-Quran 5-15 Juz, they will get a UKT reduction of one level from the UKT they got since passing the selection as new students at IAIN Ternate, namely the UKT they got IDR 400 thousand/semester.
Meanwhile, when determining UKT, all students have the same opportunity to get UKT per category depending on the economic background of the prospective new student's parents.
Apart from that, for students who pass the SPAN-PTKIN route, if they have the opportunity to get a UKT scholarship for categories 1 -3, however, if the person concerned does not re-register to take part in the UKT selection, then they will be determined to get UKT categories 4 and 5. Because, there are none. files that can be assessed by the committee.
For this reason, prospective new students are required to submit documents to take part in the UKT selection, in order to get UKT based on the economic standards of their respective parents.
So, the UKT amount makes it very easy for students, because later students who take part in PPL, Practicum, KKLI and Graduation activities will no longer be charged a fee. Apart from that, students are also subsidized by the campus for KKLI activities in the form of transportation to the areas or villages that are the destination of KKLI.
