Opening the 6th National Conference of HMPS MKS FEBI IAIN Ternate, This is the Message from Deputy Dean I Dr. Jasmin to the HMPS Management
TERNATE – The Student Association of the Sharia Financial Management Study Program (HMPS) of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) of IAIN Ternate, North Maluku, held the 6th grand deliberation (Mubes) for the 2023-2024 period.
The deliberation entitled strengthening solidarity and building a critical leadership spirit for the future of HMPS-MKS, took place in the laboratory of the Sharia Faculty of IAIN Ternate, Tuesday (12/24/2024).
The chairman of the committee for the 6th Mubes of HMPS MKS, Ariyo Saputra Puren, when reading the activity report, said that the implementation of the HMPS MKS Mubes would last for two days, namely December 24-25, 2024.
"We agree that this Mubes activity will be held in the laboratory of the Sharia Faculty," he said.
Meanwhile, the outgoing deputy chairman of HMPS MKS, Mursal Adam, hopes that MKS students will continue to maintain good communication, in order to make the deliberation a success.
"The most important thing in an organization is to build good communication, so that brotherhood is maintained between HMPS MKS students," he requested.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Dean I of FEBI IAIN Ternate for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jasmin, S.Ag., MM when appointed to open the HMPS MKS Mubes activity, revealed that student organizations at the Islamic religious college level have changed their nomenclature.
The change, he continued, occurred in 2016, when the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Education Number 4961 of 2016 concerning the General Guidelines for Student Organizations at Islamic Religious Colleges was issued.
"So, if it used to be called the Student Executive Board (BEM), now it is the Student Executive Council (DEMA), and the same is also true at the faculty level," he explained.
Student organizations, he said, are a forum to develop student potential, namely leadership, communication and management. For that, he expects students of HMPS MKS FEBI IAIN Ternate to play an important role in honing their potential within the HMPS forum.
"Namely how to manage leadership, build communication; both with students in HMPS and in SEMA and DEMA. Also build communication with leaders in the faculty," he said
"So that every activity that is carried out later is really well coordinated, and up to the leadership level also knows the activities that students are carrying out," he continued.
He also asked the HMPS MKS management to be smart in managing time, so that in addition to successfully running the organization, they are also successful in completing their studies on time.
In addition, he also expects the new HMPS MKS management to establish good communication, so that the work of the organization can benefit all MKS students at FEBI IAIN Ternate.
"Whoever is elected as the chairman of HMPS MKS, try to run the organization as well as possible in order to provide as many benefits as possible to its members," he said.
"What the chairman of HMPS must do is how to build good leadership, as well as build communication and manage time well," he added.
He also advised that in order to run the organization well, all HMPS MKS administrators must set aside external organization flags. Because according to him, often the ego of external organizations can hinder the running of intra-campus organizations.
"Do not display extra organizational flags on campus, so as not to interfere with HMPS organizational communication, maybe extra organizations may be different, but internally on campus it remains the same, namely HMPS MKS FEBI IAIN Ternate," he said.
Furthermore, he also reminded the HMPS MKS administrators that differences in choice in an organization are inevitable. Therefore, he hopes that every difference will not be used to trigger anarchic actions that are detrimental to the campus.
"So, we must maintain campus facilities, so that they can be well maintained," he concluded.
