
Ministry of Religion Occupies Second Position from CISA Survey Results, Chancellor of IAIN Ternate Prof Radjiman Ismail Gives Appreciation
TERNATE – The performance shown by the Indonesian Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar during the 100 working days of government under President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka received a positive public assessment.
This is based on the results of a survey conducted by the Center for Indonesia Strategic Actions (CISA) on 5-10 January 2025.
The survey, entitled 100 Working Days: Government Performance and National Social and Political Dynamics, places the Ministry of Religion in second place after the Ministry of Social Affairs, in public perception regarding optimal work during the 100 working days of the Prabowo-Gibran government.
As quoted from Jawa Post.com, Wednesday, January 15 2025, CISA Executive Director Herry Mendrofa said that in general it was found that the majority of the public was relatively satisfied with the performance of the Prabowo-Gibran Government through the Red and White Cabinet during the first 100 working days, both in the social sector, economics, and politics.
Apart from that, he explained, the majority of the public also thought that the Prabowo and Gibran governments had worked optimally in managing the government and bureaucracy. There were 52.81% who agreed, 27.84% who disagreed, 10.85% who were neutral and 8.49% who didn't know/didn't answer.
In the CISA survey, it is based on 10 important factors, such as communication, integrity, leadership, public service, work ethic, work program, anti-corruption, innovation, independence and responsibility.
Of the 10 factors that were referenced in the survey, the Ministry of Social Affairs was in first place with 29.91% points, then the Ministry of Religion was in second place with 23.63%, then the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform with 18.76% points. ., and followed by the Cabinet Secretary in fourth place with 11.86% points, and the Head of the Presidential Communications Office in fifth position with 11.52% points.
Responding to the achievements of the Minister of Religion, Nasaruddin Umar, in the 100 working days of the Prabowo-Gibran Government through the Red and White Cabinet, the Chancellor of IAIN Ternate, Prof.
According to him, the Ministry of Religion under the leadership of Prof. Nasaruddin Umar succeeded in making the public satisfied, after showing excellent performance regarding services to the community, strengthening religious moderation programs and making breakthroughs in accelerating the management of the Hajj and Umrah.
"We should appreciate the breakthrough made by the Minister (Nasaruddin Umar), in his 100 days at the Ministry of Religion," said Radjiman at the IAIN Ternate campus, Thursday (16/1/2025).
Radjiman explained that public appreciation based on the CISA survey was based on facts, because Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar was committed to encouraging the Ministry of Religion and its staff to show optimal performance in serving the people.
"The Minister (Nasaruddin Umar) always reminds us that the Ministry of Religion, as a vertical agency that has work units up to the sub-district level, must require equal measures to provide the best service to the community," he said.
Apart from that, he continued, Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar also emphasized his commitment to implementing the things that had been mandated by President Prabowo, namely cleaning up the organization from various irregularities and implementing efficient and effective bureaucracy.
Apart from emphasizing the importance of implementing efficient and effective bureaucracy, he said the Minister of Religion also reminded his staff about the challenges faced in the future. For this reason, he asked to make religion an independent factor.
"This is what was emphasized by the Minister and implemented by the work units under the Ministry of Religion, thereby creating a very positive public perception of the Ministry of Religion," he said.
"And of course the Minister is also known as a figure with high integrity, so that what he does has a positive impact on the benefit of the people," he added.
Radjiman said, with the positive achievements of the Ministry of Religion in the 100 working days of the Prabowo-Gibran Government, all PTKIN leaders would pay attention to implementing and supporting the program that had been rolled out by the minister of religion.
