Finalizing Preparations, IAIN Ternate Targets to Achieve Achievements in the 2024 Intimate Axis at UIN Mataram

TERNATE – Ahead of the 3rd Week of Sports, Research and Art Ornaments at State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN) East Indonesia (POROS INTIM) which will take place from 5 to 9 July 2024 at the Mataram State Islamic University (UIN), the team from IAIN Ternate begins to complete preparations.
This was conveyed by the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs and Cooperation at IAIN Ternate, Dr Mubin Noho, M.Ag after attending the undergraduate graduation procession for students at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FTIK) IAIN Ternate, Thursday (27/6/2024).
He said, at the 2024 Poros Intim event, his party included IAIN Ternate students in 7 competitions including, Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur'an, Musabaqah Memorizing the Qur'an, Islamic Religious Songs, Tausiyah Competition, Constitutional Debate, Al-Quran Scientific Writing Competition (KTIQ), and Calligraphy competition.
"Our target for the 7 competitions is that the team from IAIN Ternate can achieve achievements. For this reason, ahead of the 2024 Intim Axis, we have launched various preparations, with the aim of making students perform optimally," he said.
Mubin explained that the students included in the 2024 Intim Axis were students who excelled in each faculty. For this reason, he hopes that they can record the best achievements in order to contribute to IAIN Ternate.
"We hope that they will show their best, because the achievements they have made will influence the academic strengthening of every faculty at IAIN Ternate," he explained.
"This is also the chancellor's hope, so we respond by encouraging students to give their best performance in the 3rd intimate axis in 2024," he added
The former deputy dean for academic affairs at the Tarbiyah Faculty of IAIN Ternate, admitted that the targets put forward by Poros Intim referred to the achievements achieved by IAIN Ternate students in a number of competitions they took part in in every district and city in North Maluku.
Even so, he admitted that the Poros Intim 2024 event was the first event attended by a number of students, so it definitely presented a new nuance for them.
"Yes, there are several students who often achieve achievements at events held at the district and city levels in North Maluku, but the Poros Inti event is a new event that they are taking part in, so they are also motivated to achieve achievements," he explained.
Mubin added, for sports, his party did not participate because preparations were also very tight. For this reason, he hopes that in the 2025 Intim Axis, IAIN Ternate will again include students in all competition branches.
"Our target is to be able to participate students in all competitions, but preparation time is very tight, so we cannot maximize in sports," he concluded.
